Jonathan Michael "Jon" Lovitz is an American actor, comedian, and singer. He is best known for being a cast member on the NBC late-night sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live (1985–1990). He is also well-known for voicing cartoon characters, most notably Artie Ziff in the Fox animated sitcom The Simpsons, Jay Sherman in the adult animated sitcom The Critic, T.R. Chula in the 1991 Universal Pictures animated film An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, Calico in the 2001 spy-comedy film Cats & Dogs, and Quasimodo Wilson and the Phantom of the Opera in Sony Pictures' Hotel Transylvania franchise.
For Disney, he provided the voice of Radio in the first installment of The Brave Little Toaster (1987). He also voiced Queen Gabnidine in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. Additionally, he played Clip Metzler in the 1990 Touchstone Pictures film Mr. Destiny.
