Hooked!

"Hooked!" is the first segment of the forty-fifth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on January 25, 2013 alongside "The Never Land Pirate Ball", and is the first segment of the twentieth episode in the second season.

Plot

Red Jessica joins Captain Hook on a treasure hunt for the Ruby Heart of Hearts. Unbeknownst to them, Jake and his crew spot the pair as they make their way to Never Land and decide to help Hook from behind the scenes.

• Red Jessica briefly recalls how she first met Captain Hook lost out to sea and being chased by Tick Tock Croc.
  • While not making a physical appearance in the episode, Tick-Tock Croc is mentioned by Red Jessica and his theme music is briefly heard.
• Despite Red Jessica debuting in the episode "Hook and the Itty-Bitty Kitty", there are a few inconsistencies in the episode as Captain Hook asks Red Jessica to refer to him by his first name which she was already doing in her debut. Jake and his crew briefly don't know who Red Jessica is despite having already met as mentioned by Skully at end of "Hook and the Itty-Bitty Kitty".
• The Valley of Roses makes a reappearance since its debut in the episode "The Pirate Princess".
• Seashell Beach makes its third reappearance since its debut in the episodes "The Old Shell Game", "Jake's Jungle Groove", and "The Golden Twilight Treasure!"
• Stinkpot Swamp is mentioned since debuting in "Never Say Never!" and reappearing in "The Pirate Pup!" and "The Never Rainbow".
