Bob Rogers is the founder and chairman of BRC Imagination Arts, a design and production company, which has contributed to attractions at Disney parks.
Rogers began his involvement in themed entertainment in 1968 as a magician in the Magic Shop at Disneyland. In 1981, Rogers founded Bob Rogers and Company (later BRC Imagination Arts).
In 2007 Rogers received the Thea Award for Lifetime Achievement, given annually to an individual who is recognized, industry-wide, for their key contributions to the evolution of themed design and entertainment. Past recipients have included Don Iwerks and Imagineers Marty Sklar, Tony Baxter, and John Hench.
Disney credits
Rogers co-wrote and produced the Epcot film Impressions de France. Rogers and BRC created The Bird and the Robot, Torture Test, and The Water Engine for TransCenter at Epcot's World of Motion's, the Assembly Experience post-show for Epcot's Test Track, and The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
