Robert John Holthaus (better known as Bob Holt) was an American actor and voice actor, who was best known for his voice work voicing characters, such as Grape Ape in The Great Grape Ape Show, Avatar in Wizards, and Hulk in The Incredible Hulk 1982 cartoon. He was also known to voice some characters in some Dr. Seuss television specials, such as the Lorax and the Once-ler in The Lorax, Sylvester McMonkey McBean and some Sneetches in Dr. Seuss on the Loose, Mr. Hoober-Bloob and the Snail Announcer in The Hoober-Bloob Highway, and the Grinch and his mother in The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat.
For Disney, he voiced Mr. Codfish in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Dom Gordo of Ghent and the Giant (from "When You Wish Upon a Stone") in Adventures of the Gummi Bears. He also narrated some audiobooks for Disney Read-Alongs, such as Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Dumbo, Br'er Rabbit and the Tar Baby, Robin Hood, The Rescuers, The Hobbit, and Pete's Dragon.
