Able is a minor character in the Disney XD series Tron: Uprising.
Background
He owns a successful light cycle garage, called Able's Garage, in Argon City. His employees include Beck, Zed, Mara, and Link.
Personality
He acts as a grandfather figure to Beck. He is also one of the few programs who know that Tron is still alive. He seems to be good friends with him and supports the renegade. Sometimes he can be strict when he had to ground Beck for being late so many times.
Role in the series
Able is an engineer Program who runs his own Garage and has programs fixing and repairing vehicles in Argon. One Day, General Tesler arrived in Argon and had placed the city after CLU 2.0 had taken control of the Grid. He was devastated when one of his workers: Bodhi was derezzed by one of Clu's forces for speaking out of having Clu's statue place in their field. However, Beck posing as Tron destroy the statue, then Paige, one of Tesler's commanding officers arrived at the Garage to inform the workers about the Renegade, a program who was pretending to be Tron. When Paige interrogates Beck about his tool, Able told her he got it where they keep their tools.
After Paige left, Able spoke with Beck and wonder he had anything to do the Clu's statue blowing up, Beck only told him he was out walking and just upset about what happen to Bodhi, which Able and all the Workers are still upset about. Then Tesler's forces arrive to gather some of the workers including Zed and Mara for the games, he told Beck to come back inside as they watch. However, the Renegade then rescue Zed, Mara, and the workers. In "The Renegade", he asks Zed to watch over a second generation Lightcycle while he was away.
However, Perl stole the second and attempted, but Zed and Mara got it back. When Able return, Zed tried to make a joke, but accidentally knock it down much to Able's annoyance.
After saving Zed and Mara from Cyrus' bombs, one of them attaches itself to him, and in the ensuing explosion, he gets derezzed.
