Coronamon is a Beast Digimon. It was born from the fusion of sun-watching data. It has an innocent personality due to its sense of justice being powerfully sincere.[3]
Attacks
- Corona-Knuckles (Corona-knuckle): Releases continuous punches with its fists heated by the power of flame.
- Corona Flame: Concentrates the power of flame in its brow while exhausting all of its body's stamina, then fires it at the opponent as a flaming shot.
- Petit Prominence: Clads its body in flames, and either defends itself or rams the opponent.
- Holy Shoot: Causes an explosion with a small ball of light.
Design
Its design is derived from the lion (Panthera leo).
Some media depict Coronamon with Green eyes.

Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna
In August 2010, a Coronamon's partner had her mind seized and interred within the Never World by Eosmon so that she can live within her memories with Coronamon. After Agumon (Bond of Bravery) and Gabumon (Bond of Friendship) destroy the combined Eosmon's Mega form, she is freed and regains consciousness in the Real World.

Digimon Seekers ~The Crossroad Witch~
At some point, a Coronamon was one of the countless Digimon captured and kept prisoner inside cages by WaruMonzaemon at the Crossroads Fortress. When Shuu Yulin and Ryudamon travel there looking for BlackAgumon, they see all the caged up Digimon. Ryudamon fights WaruMonzaemon, with all of its Iai Blade attacks missing WaruMonzaemon. This was intentional though, as Ryudamon wasn't aiming for WaruMonazemon — it was aiming for the cages, with this freeing all of the captive Digimon. When WaruMonzaemon was about to kill Ryudamon, most of the freed Digimon confront it and say to let Ryudamon go. WaruMonzaemon beats all of them up, though this just causes Ryudamon to warp digivolve to Hisyaryumon and kill WaruMonzaemon. The former prisoners then thank their heroes as they leave. Coronamon is #083 in Digimon World Dawn and Dusk, and is a Balance-class Holy species Digimon with a resistance to the Light element and a weakness to the Dark element. Its basic stats are 128 HP, 124 MP, 82 Attack, 68 Defense, 52 Spirit, 68 Speed, and 32 Aptitude. It possesses the Powerful 2 and Fire Aura 2 traits.
Coronamon digivolves from Sunmon and can Digivolve to Firamon. In order to Digivolve or degenerate to Coronamon, your Digimon must be at least level 11, with 50% friendship.
Coronamon can DNA Digivolve to Sorcermon with Kudamon.

Coronamon is #061, and is a Rookie-level, HP-type, Beast-species Digimon with a resistance to the Earth and Fire elements, and a weakness to the Water element. It possesses the Death Protection and Item Liker traits, and has the special skill Ice Melt.
It dwells in the Resistor Jungle. When defeated, it can drop the debug plate for Firamon.
