Healers are providers of aid in Sanctuary. It has been indicated that healers take an oath of compassion before beginning their work.[1]
In-game
Healers are found in every Diablo game sans Diablo Immortal. They are usually found as an NPC in a town, where they can heal players. in Diablo II, this includes hirelings and minions. Some healers will also provide services such as selling healing potions (or replenishing them, in the case of Diablo IV).
The process of healing is automatic; the player merely needs to speak with the healer and their life and mana will be completely restored. Healing will also remove any other negative effects such as Poison or Curses.
