The Hand of Naz was a cursed gauntlet. It was worn on the user's right hand.
Lore

The Hand has the power to summon a spectral army by whoever wears it. However, this comes at a price, as the user's soul is fated to be added to the army's ranks after use. A legend spread, stating (correctly) that the gauntlet could only be worn once per user, but not saying why.

The penultimate user of the gauntlet was a king, who fell victim to the curse as all the others had before him. He was buried in a tomb beneath the castle of Kanemith. Later, in 1265, the gauntlet was taken by Renit from the king's corpse, who used the gauntlet to destroy a portion of the Army of Destruction. Per the gauntlet's curse, Renit's soul was added to the Hand's army after its use. However, the cycle was broken, as Cairo returned Renit to life, explaining that she'd suspected that there was a price to using the gauntlet, and had let Renit be her patsy.
Cairo destroyed the "real prize" of the gauntlet, namely the jewel lodged in it. In doing so, she released the gauntlet's souls, but gained all of their knowledge in the process.[1]
