Blood Ties is an event that sometimes takes place in The Barracks Level 2 in Diablo III. A bounty may be available to complete it.
A guard of Bastion's Keep has retreated to the entrance of the level after becoming separated from his close comrade, and asks for help finding him. The exact location is unknown so the area must be explored. A guard is eventually visible on the ground at the far end of a large room, but a unique Fallen One called Snapbite stands over him, and must be killed. After doing so, the fallen guard can be examined, revealing that he is alive, much to the relief of his friend.
