Devil Number 4 is a main character in Devil Number 4.
Appearance
Number 4 is seen as conventionally attractive, noted by Hanna and other people around them. He has unusual red eyes and light-colored hair. After becoming human, his eyes turned brown.[2] His eyebrows are described as resembling seagulls.[3] When he first became a devil, he wore a traditional Hanbok, but later adjusted to wearing a suit most of the time as modern standards changed.[3]
Personality
While he can seem intimidating at first, he can be soft and caring. Even though devils are not supposed to be capable of feeling love or lust, he later expresses feelings for Hanna.
History
Number 4 is a top devil in his profession, but was unable to appease Hanna, one of his most difficult clients. He used to be the apprentice for Number 2, but they split ways suddenly after Number 2 turned traitor.
Relationships
Hanna Yoon
Number 4 was originally sent to acquire her soul through a soul contract, though he later catches feelings for her. In her past life, they kissed, but the relationship never progressed further because she was killed as a sacrifice soon after.
Number 2
The two were mentor-student and friends, and Number 2 has said that Number 4 was in love with her, though it was never confirmed by him. They become enemies when Number 2 tries to kill Hanna, but it is evident that they still care for each other.
Number 313
The two of them are friends, though Number 313 expresses disappointment that Number 4 would be willing to fall in love with a human.
