Glory is a Crucible skill ranking system in Destiny 2. Players can earn points toward their Glory rank by winning matches in the Competitive playlist.[1] It was introduced in Update 1.2.
Rank Points
Players earn rank points by winning matches and lose points by losing matches. Quitting a match in progress counts as a loss.[2] Winning multiple matches in a row will provide a player with a winning streak bonus that increases rank point gains from each successive win. Before season 4, the player could get a losing streak as well, but with Forsaken Bungie removed it from the competitive playlist. The streak caps out at five wins and then resets.[1]
As a player earns rank points, they will progress through six rank levels as follows:[1]
- Guardian (0 rank points) (Guardian I, Guardian II, Guardian III)
- Brave (Brave I, Brave II, Brave III)
- Heroic (Heroic I, Heroic II, Heroic III)
- Fabled (Fabled I, Fabled II, Fabled III)
- Mythic (Mythic I, Mythic II, Mythic III)
- Legend (5,450 to 5,500 rank points)[3]
From Guardian to Fabled ranks, players will earn bonus rank points each week by completing at least three matches. At Mythic and Legend ranks, players must complete at least three matches every week to prevent rank decay.[1]
At the end of each season, all Glory ranks and rank points will be reset.[1]
Rewards
Players can earn weapons by increasing their Glory rank. Previously, players could also earn ornaments and emblems from increasing their glory rank. A Crucible engram is given the first time a player progresses to a new Glory rank in a season.[1]
All of Lord Shaxx's wares are tied to a particular Valor or Glory rank. Some rewards require a particular rank level.[1]
At Fabled rank, players will be able to purchase a unique weapon from Shaxx. In Season 3, that weapon is Redrix's Claymore. At Legend, players will be rewarded with an ornament for the unique weapon.[1]
