Forest is the second region in Descenders' Career mode.
The Forest directly follows the Highlands, and is a significant jump in difficulty, as the paths become steeper, and going off-path makes you likely to be punished by the large amount of trees if you're careless. This can be extremely annoying to players that frequently go off path to skip jumps or the like.
Completing the Boss Track in the Forest will let the player progress to the next region in Career, the Canyon.

Mini-bosses
These are the Mini-bosses, which give a certain amount of points (indicated in brackets, and before multiplier is applied) when successfully completed.
Note that the game does not consider Shorebridged a mini-boss jump, but it is listed here due to it having its own unique trick name.

Boss Jump
The Boss Jump will appear at the Boss Jump node. The player will have to successfully jump the Boss Jump (or skip it by avoiding the ramp) and reach the end point, in order to progress to the Canyon. Interestingly the boss jump appears to be a firewatched mini boss jump except with a larger ramp.
There are 2 tricks associated with this Boss Jump:
- Onto the Tower (200 points), which you attain if you successfully land on the tower,
- Over the Tower (300 points), which you attain if you successfully jump over the tower.

Mega Ramp
The Mega Ramp is a Bonus World in the Forest that features a static large ramp. In this node, the bonus objective is always to gain 5000 rep with a single combination of tricks, but the node can be ended by driving through the typical finish gate.
The mega ramp is indicated on the map by a star, and is generally found on the outer edge of the map, opposite to the Boss Jump node, with some exceptions.
The mega ramp has a static, fixed seed of 1002.
