History
Secrets of Deltora
Ruff was the storyteller of the Jalis, responsible for guarding and retelling the Tenna Birdsong Tales, during the reign of King Lucan. Doran the Dragonlover mentions him in passing in Secrets of Deltora, listing Ruff as one of the reasons one may want to visit Jaliad.[1]
Abilities
Ruff's voice was very powerful. He could enthral his audience with any of the Birdsong Tales. Doran mentions that his tales were fascinating, no matter how many times they were told.[1]
Trivia
- Ruff is the only known male Jalis whose name does not start with the letter "G".
