• Bird and the other people of the Nanny's Pride farm clan are the ancestors of Magnus FitzFee, and even share his short height and stocky, strong build.
• "Bird" is only a nickname. Everyone at Nanny's Pride farm and the Den uses nicknames, as they share the belief that knowing a person's true name gives you power of them, so they keep them a secret from everyone but close friends and family. The Shadow Lord was able to control Itch and his allies' bodies but not their minds, as he did not know their names.
• As a descendant of Magnus FitzFee, Bird's family name is FitzFee.^[1]
