Vigaro is a ghoul, and was set to act as the next ghoul chief of his village after Zadiris. Currently he is working as a military officer for Talosheim. He is the father of Basdia, later several other children.
Appearance
Rank 5 Ghoul Barbarian. Vigaro has the appearance typical of a Ghoul male; a body that was roughly human-like shape, possessing the head of a lion, yellow eyes, grey-brown skin, arms that were so long that his fingers would reach the ground even if he stretched his back up to stand up straight, and tough, flexible musculature. He also stood as the tallest Ghoul in his village, standing two meters tall.
Rank 6 Ghoul Berserker. Vigaro had grown a size bigger. His lion’s head was more masculine, his fangs were thicker and stronger, and the muscles of his limbs had grown larger while maintaining their flexibility.
Rank 7 Ghoul Tyrant. Vigaro's size was of a Titan's, with a height of 250 cm; and he grew two additional arms, making him a powerful, four-armed warrior.
Rank 8 Ghoul Great Tyrant. Vigaro did not changed much in appearance.
Rank 9 Ghoul Arch-Tyrant. Vigaro gained a third eye appearing on his forehead. He had a gained a robust, impressive body with inferior volume to Jeena's. His large, muscular body that wasn’t at all inferior to the Kijin nation's gate guard.
Rank 10 Ghoul Astral Tyrant. Vigaro still has the same appearance as a Ghoul Arch-Tyrant, but can now manifest a spiritual fifth arm to assist his fights.

Personality
As a Ghoul Barbarians, Vigaro was relatively intelligent and stood in a position to become the next chief. In addition, he had an exceptional ability for commanding others, so while most Ghoul Barbarians enjoyed fighting alone, Vigaro was always leading his companions to battle. These factors made him more difficult to defeat than most Ghoul Barbarians.[1]
Vigaro is a muscle head, but is flexible enough to ask for advice if there's things he doesn't understand. Borkus is his rival in both becoming stronger, and both consider themselves Vandalieu's older brother.[2] He may be a little overprotective, always trying to stop Van from fighting in the early days.
After becoming a Ghoul Arch-tyrant, Vigaro gained a king-like personality and an equal gender perspective of muscles.
"He is an established individual, very popular among groups of Ghoul women and respected by the young men. However, the Undead Titan women have also tried seducing him, and he has caused trouble for Vandalieu by asking for advice about various things.[2]
Background
Vigaro is a young Ghoul over 160 years old, expected to take over Zadiris's position as chief of their Ghoul tribe.[2] However, with encountering Vandalieu and affected by his Death-Attribute Charm skill, wished for the toddler to stay in their tribe because his assistance advanced their tribe's wellbeing within a year. Vigaro came to see himself as Vandalieu's family member.
Against Bugogan's attempt to conquer the surrounding Ghoul villages, Vigaro followed the Ghoul King Vandalieu along with many other Ghouls to fight the threat. From Vandalieu, Vigaro gained a Magic battleaxe and with the toddler's magic support, the diversion Rank 5 Ghoul Barbarian Vigaro defeated several Orcs, Orc Generals and one Noble Orc.
When Vigaro was in his 140's, he and Zadiris had a drunk one-night exchange, resulting with Basdia's birth. "However, as he only knows Ghoul culture in which there is no marriage system, he believes, ‘the past is the past, now is now.’ He cares for Basdia more than he would for other women, but not enough for him to tell her that he is her father."[2]
Abilities
In a one-on-one battle, he would defeat the average B-class adventurer.[3]
Trivia
- Even though he's become one of Talosheim's military officers he simply thinks "I just have to hunt some monsters, right?"[3]
- Vigaro, Zadiris, Basdia, and Tarea are the Ghouls whose Ranks increased during the fifth volume. They gained a race title that hasn’t been seen by anyone before. It is very likely that their existence would likely draw the attention of the Mages’ Guild or the Tamers’ Guild.
- He is a big brother existence to Vandalieu and competes with Borkus for the title.
- His next status is displayed in WN Volume 13 Chapter 309 at Rank 13. After that is WN Vol. 15 Chapter 385 at Rank 14.
- His favorite food in the past was human flesh, but now it is acorn cookies with plenty of honey poured on top.[2]
