Pauvina

Pauvina (パウヴィナ ()) is a half-Noble Orc girl who should not have been born naturally.[1][2] Although she was born as a result of Vandalieu's human experimentation, she is like a sibling to him.[3]

Appearance

Influenced by ghoul culture, Pauvina usually dresses in highly revealing clothing and bears an earring on her left ear.[4]

Though her face resembles her previous Live-Dead body, she has gained some Noble Orc characteristics: Pauvina is very tall and has long platinum blond hair, baby blue eyes, a pig tail and floppy ears.[5]

Thanks to her Noble Orc blood, she also grows up much faster than a human child would.[6] At only three months of age, her height was almost the same as Vandalieu who was three years old and otherwise has a small build.[?] At 1.5 years old, she had reached the size of a 3-4 year old, surpassing the size of 5 year old Vandalieu.[5] She only stopped growing once she had reached 3 meters in height. Ignoring her size, she looks like a girl in her early teens.[6]

She could be considered the equivalent to a boar beast-kin.[7]

Personality

Although one may refer to her rescue as Van using her, she still feels thankful and is emotionally attached to him.[?]

But even after regaining some of her memories, her mental age was still that of a child. Unlike people who had been reincarnated like Vandalieu, she was simply a child who remembered a little about her previous life. She would develop and become an adult for the second time.[?]

She gets along well with Rapiéçage and the other children, acting as something of an onee-san to them. She recieved an iron mace from Vandalieu and doesn’t skip her daily training with Club Technique.[7]

She is the kind of little girl who beats her enemies to death, and at the age of 2 she graduated from throwing Vandalieu into the air.[7]

Background

She was originally the spirit of a dead young woman whom Viscount Balchesse had prepared for Luciliano to scout out the orc settlement.[8][1] When she encountered Vandalieu, she had been dead for over a month and did not remember how she had died. Vandalieu decided to use her as a practice run for pseudo-reincarnation, possessing her spirit in the fertilized egg inside her. The embryo inside her was crafted to be born as close to human as possible, with the Noble Orc factor removed as much as possible.[1] Reborn as a half-Noble Orc, she remembered little of her life before her reincarnation.[2]

Powers and Abilities

Like Dhampirs, she's more person-like in nature, so there's no rank on her status, and she is able to gain jobs.[5]

With her fighting strength, she would easily defeat an E-class adventurer, and although she wouldn’t lose to a D-class adventurer, it wouldn’t be an easy victory. If she faced a party of D-class adventurers, she would be defeated.[7]

Even ignoring the size of her body, she appears older than Vandalieu; if she were a human, she would be equivalent to about nine years old in age. Her Skills are equal in Level to a B-class adventurer’s, and with her already-high Attribute Values increased by Guidance: Dark Demon Creation Path, her fighting strength is at the point where she can aim for a promotion to A-class.[?]

She was given a long, thin object by Vandalieu in her dream, and she now possesses the divine protection of Garess, the God of Warriors. Divine protections are never bad, so she doesn’t mind not knowing what kind of divine protection it is.[?]

She has somehow acquired a resistance Skill that protects her from effects on her mind, but it can be assumed that she has acquired this because she is frequently in the company of Vandalieu and his companions.[?]

She has acquired the Dark Armor Heavy Club User Job; it could be assumed that this is a subtype of Club User or Magic Club User that fights while wearing Dark Copper armor.[?]

Through her Noble Orc blood, she had their physical strength. She's learning magic to a certain extent, with the aim of acquiring a magical girl-type job. "However, she had first acquired the Tamer Job and acquired the Strengthen Subordinates Skill, saying that this would help everyone bring out their own strengths more."[6]
