Martina

Martina (マルティーナ ()) was a member of the Adventurer Party, Five-colored Blades. She was one of the original members, that participated in Darcia's capture which resulted in Darcia's subsequent execution early on in the story.[2] Martina perished in the wandering dungeon, the Trial of Zakkart, before Vandalieu saw her again.[3][4]

Appearance

In rumors, he was described as having ‘hair like flowing gold,’ ‘blue eyes like gemstones,’ ‘skin like porcelain,’ ‘slender limbs’ and ‘voluptuous body. The women at Vandelieu's side noticed how odd it was to have that body shape and limbs combination.[5]

As a ghost, she has lost her original appearance and has only a face that vaguely resembles a human face, but with black holes where her eyes and mouth were supposed to be.[6]

Personality

Not much is known about how she was in life, but from the one scene in Evbejia's tavern, where she's trying to soothe Heinz's conscience over Darcia's death, it can be inferred that she has little to no sympathy for women who are the victim of "monster" rape and impregnation, since she openly condemns Darcia "reaping what she sowed" for daring to get pregnant and give birth to Van.

Summary

Just like all those who perished in the Trial of Zakkart, her spirit was imprisoned in order to prevent her from delivering information regarding the Trial of Zakkart to the gods of Alda's faction or becoming a part of the enemy’s forces as familiar spirits and heroic spirits.[6]

She was used as a source of power for Trial of Zakkart, and over time she became a Ghost and lost all her memories.[6]

At this point, there was still a chance that Martina would remember her past,[7] [8]but the prospect was reversed when Vandalieu, along with a thousand other ghosts, tried to make Martina gain experience, regain her memories, and destroy her alone. She and the other ghosts were so afraid of being destroyed by Vandalieu that they all merged into one entity, Jane Doe.[9]

Powers and Abilities

It's been stated that Martina was the mage of the Five-colored Blades and was capable of using Spiritual magic.[3]
