Demons (デーモン ()) are coagulations of contaminated Mana with evil wills that turn into monsters.^[2]

Overview

Demons do not have the instincts and desires that normal creatures have, and live only for pleasure and destructive impulses. They can live without sleep, eating, reproduction, and without a life span. It is not that they are incapable of doing these things, but for the daemons, it is just a pastime. It is not uncommon for Demons to give up even their own lives for fun. The higher ranking daemons are especially prone to this tendency, and rarely surrender and run away to spare their lives. Because of this non-living mental structure, only a Majin with a racial trait or those who have the ability to destroy souls can tame them.^[3]

It seems that a special subroutine has been built in the Demon King's Reincarnation system, so that a Demon that dies is instantly reincarnated into another Demon.^[4]

Many materials from demons are valuable and have high monetary value, but few are edible.^[3]
