Blind

Blind is a debuff that when applied lowers the accuracy of the player or infected it's on, with the higher the blind percent the lower the odds of being able to hit an opponent, with 100% blind being a 0% chance to hit. Blind takes effect before dodge (see table below). This effect has a small cooldown before it can be reapplied to a target. The effect also applies to bosses.

Attacks that miss the player will have any attached effects ignored, for example elemental damage alongside physical attacks, stuns/projection and vomit damage (thus preventing the vomit effect timer from being refreshed). Area-of-effect attacks, however, will ignore the effects of blind (attacks indicated by a circle, for example vomit and AOE stuns). Also, attacks that inflict reduced movement speed will still have this effect.

Dodge and Blind

When the attacker has the blind effect on them and the target has dodge, the two effects are each checked independently, with blind being checked first. For example if both blind and dodge are at 75%, they would result in a 94% miss chance.
