York was the right-hand man of Edwin Alva.

History

Shortly after the Big Bang, during the pending investigation into Alva Industries, York removed vital information from the company databases, and stored them on disks. Static interrupted York, but York then put the bragging young superhero to the test. After a fight that wrecked half the room, York managed to trap Static in an isolation tube. He opened gas vents, and was slowly gassing Static. By pressurizing the chamber, Static managed to get out. The shrapnel of the ensuing explosion took down York.

When Alva's businesses were being destroyed by the mysterious Omnifarious, York led the investigation.
