Lucy Lane was the younger sister of Lois Lane.
History
Lucy grew up in a loving home, where she and her big sister often played with Titano the chimpanzee, a test subject for the Air Force, and Beppo, a plush monkey that played "Pop! Goes the Weasel" whenever squeezed.
The two sisters did not like the thought of Titano being sent into space, Lois more so than Lucy. She even went as far as suggesting sending Lucy instead, which Lucy didn't mind at all. While the adults' reassurances helped Lucy remain positive that Titano would be fine, her sister, on the other hand, still worried that something would go wrong. This would sadly come true when the rocket was lost in space.[1]
Lucy would later occasionally visit her sister, though she made it a habit of staying much longer than Lois would want, much to Lois's dismay.
Background information
Lucy Lane first appeared in the comics in 1959, as a semi-regular love interest for Jimmy Olsen. Lucy briefly dates him, but eventually marries Ron Troupe.
