Keith David (born June 4, 1956 in Harlem, New York) is an American actor, singer, and comedian noted for his imposing voice. He is well known for roles in films such as The Chronicles of Riddick, The Princess and the Frog, and They Live and for providing the voice of Goliath in the Gargoyles animated series, the Arbiter in the Halo series of video games, and others. He also narrated History Channel's 2003 documentary Comic Book Superheroes Unmasked!, chronicling the history and development of both DC and Marvel comics in the early 20th century.
