Henry Silva (September 23, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York - September 14, 2022 in Woodland Hills, California) was an American veteran actor. His notable film credits include Ocean's Eleven, the two-time Oscar-nominated The Manchurian Candidate, the WWII adventure film The Secret Invasion, the exploitative Chained Heat (which featured John Vernon), the three-time Oscar-winning Dick Tracy (which featured Ed O'Ross, Seymour Cassel, Hamilton Camp, Robert Costanzo and composer Shirley Walker, who served as the film's music score conductor). He was the first voice of Bane, before Hector Elizondo took over.
