Duke was Wade's lookout man.
History
Duke served as muscle in Wade's gang, and often stood lookout. Tall, menacing and silent, he led Virgil Hawkins to Wade's place, where the tactics for a major showdown that was to take place that night were being discussed. Duke once again stood lookout when Static arrived, and brought him to Wade.
As the fight broke loose, Duke fought valiantly. He was beaten down by one of F-Stop's crew, but overcame his assailant. When the police showed up, he made himself scarce.
Exactly how he was affected by the Quantum Vapor that was released during the police raid is unknown.
