Houston Rockets player Yao Ming was recruited by the National Biotech Authority to be the pilot of one of Dr. Andrews' bioenhancer suits. Yao became a member of the Hoop Squad.

With the bio enhancer suit, Yao Ming was able to extend his already long limbs.
