The U.N. officially recognizes super heroes as international police agents after an incident where the Conquerlord attacked the U.N. in a bid to conquer the world.
Tempest Tossed
The UN aid workers Steve and Trevor met Diana of Themyscira while she was in a refugee camp. They were impressed with her ability to translate multiple languages and give a thorough overview of the camp, and offered to help her get a degree and legal papers so that she could be in a position to make a bigger impact and help more people.
