Synopsis for "The Way of the Warrior"

Tengu fled from combat before Bushido's grandfather told him that his journey had just begun. Beast Boy's cousin Matt contacted the Titans, asking to borrow their jet for the weekend so that he could go to Japan. His call was interrupted by another call with Gar, who was already in Japan with Bette. The two Titans were alerted when Tengu was near and intervened in between his battle with Bushido. As a result, Tengu possessed Beast Boy and Bushido attempted to kill them both, but was prevented from doing so by Flamebird.

After the battle, Flamebird researched the Tengu before the Titans appeared in front of her and she explained the situation to them. Bushido was closing in on the Tengu-possessed Beast Boy when the Titans attacked him. An earthquake started during the fight, so Troia and Tempest investigated the earthquake while the rest of the team fought Bushido. As Troia and Tempest were attacked by the possessed Beast Boy, the team turned their attention towards him and he released his fellow Tengu. The Titans and Bushido fought the Tengu while evacuating civilians. Bushido defeated the Tengu possessing Beast Boy, ending his influence, before disappearing. As Beast Boy laid injured in Flamebird's arms, he told her that Matt forgot to feed her fish.
