Synopsis for "Faster than Thought Conclusion: The Last Embers"

The Flash finds himself found in a flaming maze inside Heatwave's mind. He can't vibrate his way through the fire, leaving him trapped with Detective Burns. The only way they can escape is by reasoning with Heat Wave's consciousness, which has been infected by the Sage Force.

Back in the real world,Commander Cold is using his Cold Gun to prevent Heatwave's unconscious body from scorching all of Central City. Iris West remembers her knowledge of the sage force from before Flashpoint, giving Commander Cold a device that allows him to enter Heatwave's mind. Cold pretends to be Captain Cold, reasoning with him to calm down. The Flash defeats the virus in Heatwave's mind, thereby stopping him from unconsciously burning down the city.

Barry tells Iris he needs to go on a Force Quest to further understand the Speed Force, but he can't bring himself to leave her behind. She laughs and says she's coming with him.
