I'm sorry for what happened to you, Zoom, but you killed my mom, and you're going to prison for it. You're right about one thing, though. You were chosen and you could've used your gift to do good. To do better. Instead, you want to make everyone around you evil. In some warped, insane way... you actually made me who I am. I don't know how I feel about that. But I know that until you change, you will always be a failure.

Synopsis for "Reunion"
Barry revealed to his father that he had kept his life as the Flash a secret in hopes of keeping him safe, leading Henry to reveal that Professor Zoom threatened to kill the younger Allen unless the elder confessed to the murder of his wife. Professor Zoom revealed that he knew what had not happened yet because he came from the year 2463 and believed that he knew that the Flash would later destroy his home, the Gem Cities. The time traveler revealed that when he was the ruler of the Gem Cities, the inhabitants revolted against him, in the Flash's name, and that he always failed to erase his legacy.
Henry intervened and took Barry inside of their house, where the latter prevented Professor Zoom from killing the former. Professor Zoom was still faster, but the Flash learned that he had the power to slow down time. The former of the two revealed that he killed the latter's mother and framed his father in order to give them both an "equal start", as he had witnessed his father kill his mother, as a child. The Flash defeated Professor Zoom and knocked him unconscious before Henry attempted to finish him, although the younger Allen convinced him not to.
Later, Darryl and other officers arrived and arrested Thawne, who was subsequently imprisoned in Iron Heights, although he claimed that he "won."
