Taa (New Earth)

Taa is a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

History

Taa is a member of a race called The Many of Zilliph, which has a group-mind. He received his power ring and battery after Rak Arranya's death. During an invasion of the Barooki, Taa consulted the Congress to decide what to do with the new weapon, who ultimately decided to get rid of it becase no individual can have more power than "the many." However, Taa abandoned their beliefs and took the power to himself, fighting and defeating the Barooki. He tried to teach the Many of Zilliph to forget the "will of the many" and decide for themselves, becoming individuals. But they forced Taa to become king, deciding for them on minor disagreements.^[1]

He didn't care for this role and eventually left his group to spend more of his time on Oa. His race continually tries to find him.^[2]
