Synopsis for "Super-Monster, Part Two"
Frankenstein, with Kroog in his hand, explains to Superman and Lois that Kroog is a wanted criminal in several galaxies for murder and other charges. Lois punches Kroog and asks what she has done to the real Candice. Kroog answers that Candice is alive and locked up in her basement, where she drank small amounts of Candice's blood to procure her appearance and stealing her identity which allowed her to hide in plain sight. Superman is glad that Kroog, but he disapproves of Frankenstein's "smash and grab" method that could have hurt bystanders. Before an argument escalates, Lois intervenes and points out that the real Candice and other people back at the town need help, and Kroog needs to be dealt with at once.
Just as Frankenstein's Trans-Cell arrives to take away Kroog, the transport is destroyed by The Bride, who is a bounty hunter since her disassociation with S.H.A.D.E. and is also after Kroog. The unexpected reunion between Frankenstein and Bride goes sour as the latter shoots off her husband's hand holding Kroog and takes the wanted alien with her. But Kroog explodes. This is in fact Kroog's species defensive move as her parts are scurrying away before they could "reconstruct" herself. Frankenstein, The Bride and Superman tries to blast away the pieces, but not all of them. Frustrated by their loss, a fight ensues between Frankenstein and Bride until Superman stops them and gets their act together by focusing on finding Kroog before she can escape. Both Bride and Frankenstein agree.
Bride finds Frankenstein's dismembered hand she had shot off, which Frankenstein wants back. As she does so, she is surprised to find are the wedding rings that Frankenstein is wearing them. After Bride gives the hand back to Frankenstein, Lois asks Bride what happened between her and Frankenstein that caused them to separate. Bride explains that she and Frankenstein were trying to stop their son who had been wreaking death and destruction in Europe. When their son briefly regained his clarity, he begged for death. Bride felt her son's fate was up to her and killed him before he could kill others.
Lois departs back to town on Frankenstein's hover-bike while Superman goes with Frankenstein and Bride to search for Kroog. As the three plans to split up and cover more ground, Superman stops and realize they are doing this the wrong way. He explains to the others that Kroog's body parts are not going in different directions but were all heading east.
Kroog's parts head into a nearby lake where her spaceship lies hidden. After reintegrating herself, Kroog attempts to fly away but she is found by her pursuers. Superman grabs onto the spaceship's wings and wraps it around Kroog's cockpit and then seals it tight with his heat vision. With Kroog captured, Frankenstein decides to hand over the criminal to Bride to make peace with her, and offers Bride her ring back. But Bride drops the ring and takes Kroog for herself and flies off, leaving Superman in a really awkward moment with Frankenstein. Superman and Frankenstein go their separate ways.
Superman returns home with Lois and checks in on their sleeping son.
