Professional History
Steve Agee is an American actor and comedian. His first major role was as Steve Myron on The Sarah Silverman Program, and he has gone on to appear in recurring and guest roles on television series such as Adventure Time, New Girl, and Superstore.
After appearing as Gef in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, he was brought on to Gunn's first DC Studios film, The Suicide Squad, where he was the on-set stand-in for King Shark, who was voiced by Sylvester Stallone. He also portrayed John Economos in the film, and went on to reprise the role in the first season of Peacemaker and the film Shazam! Fury of the Gods, making him his most well-recognized character.
When the DC Extended Universe was rebooted into the new DC Universe after Gunn took over DC Studios, Agee was one of the few actors to reprise his role in this new continuity, seeing how The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker were folded into its canon. He has appeared as this new Economos on Creature Commandos, has completed filming for the upcoming second season of Peacemaker, and is set to appear on the in-development series Waller.
