Peter Morwood

Peter Morwood (b. October 20, 1956) is a writer.

Peter Morwood is an Irish writer. Besides working on his writing career, he has worked on some TV shows including Batman: The Animated Series, Spider-Man Unlimited and Gargoyles; along with his wife Diane Duane.

Personal History

Morwood was born Robert Peter Smyth. He attended the Friends School Lisburn, and then Queen's University in Belfast, where he studied English literature and acquired an honours Bachelors degree. Morwood also took pilot training as a cadet pilot with the Queen's University Student Air Squadron of the Royal Air Force. He graduated from University in 1979. He adopted the pen name "Peter Morwood" and he changed it as his legal name in the mid-80's. Morwood is married to fellow writer Diane Duane and they currenly live in County Wicklow, Ireland.
