Jeannot Szwarc (b. November 21, 1939 – d.January 15, 2025) was a French film and television director who directed the 1984 movie Supergirl and fourteen episodes of Smallville.

- Szwarc directed 14 episodes of Smallville, between 2003 and 2011. However, he didn't direct any featuring the future Supergirl, nor a single episode of season 7 (that featured Kara as a main character).
