Java

Java is the Neanderthal manservant of millionaire Simon Stagg, making him an antagonist to Metamorpho. Their rivalry is fueled by mutual love for Stagg's daughter Sapphire. He is an employee of Stagg Industries, the company that discovered and revived him in the present era. Java was created by Bob Haney and Ramona Fradon, first appearing in The Brave and the Bold #57.
