Iraq is a country in the Middle East. Located within its current borders are Mesopotamia and the ancient city of Babylon. More recently, it has been the setting of two wars with US involvement, the Gulf War and Iraq War.

- In the DC Universes, the fictional country Qurac was often used as an analog for Iraq.[citation needed] However in current continuity, both Iraq and Qurac are independent nations.
