Icarus

Icarus is a character in Greek mythology. He is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus. Daedalus built wings for both of them out of feather and wax so they could escape Crete. He warned his son not to fly too close to the sun, but Icarus ignored his father's warnings. The wax melted and his wings fell apart and he died.
