Synopsis for "A Rage in Arkham, Part Two"
Batman approaches Detective Deborah Tiegel and tells her that Tommy Monaghan has been hired to kill the Joker. He requests that Tiegel keep it quiet so that he can track down the person who hired Tommy. As the police take Tommy to the station, Tommy uses his telepathy to discover that one of the policemen who arrested him is having an affair with his partner's wife. Tommy reveals this, starting a fight between the two officers. Tommy uses the opportunity to escape. The Mawzir has been tailing Monaghan, and he reports back to his masters, the Arkannone. He is interrupted, however, by a gang of thieves who seek to mug him, and the Mawzir kills them in a hail of gunfire.
Tommy Monaghan flees to his friend Pat Noonan's apartment, where the two discuss what Tommy will do with the money he gets from killing the Joker. Tommy wants to move to Manhattan and take Pat with him. Pat mentions that word has gotten out that Tommy is doing a job in Arkham Asylum, and there are many people willing to pay to have him kill or injure several of the inmates, including the Mad Hatter.
Later, outside Arkham Asylum, Tommy scouts the area. He decides to force two policemen into the trunk of their car at gunpoint and use the car to drive into the asylum. Once inside, Tommmy shoots the inmates he has been hired to kill or injure, then he reaches the Joker's cell. He shoots the Joker between the eyes, but the Joker is actually the Mawzir in disguise. The Mawzir shoots Tommy several times, blasting apart Tommy's gun in the progress.
