Why in thunderation are they gunnin' fer me? But in this here world... why, shucks... strangers go around maimin' an' killin' each other just to while away the time of day.

  • Jonah Hex's corpse appears in this issue as a stuffed body put on display in an amusement park. This is a reference to an earlier story also written by Michael Fleisher where Hex is killed by George Barrow and his body is stolen by the circus owner L.B. Farnham.[1]
