Don Thompson (b. October 30, 1935 – d.May 23, 1994) was a writer.

Don Thompson was a well known figure in comic book fandom since the 1960s. He wrote for fanzines and industry periodicals with his wife Maggie. The Thompson Award was named in his honor.
