Arak: Son of Thunder is a Native American warrior and adventurer, raised by vikings. Born from the congress of a Thunder god named He-No and his human mother Star-of-Dawn, his destiny leads him to conquer many great opponents. He was a member of the Quontauka Tribe. His descendants include Flying Fox of the Young All-Stars and Arak Wind-Walker of Helix.
Arak Red-Hand was created by Roy Thomas and Ernie Colon, first appearing in Warlord #48 (1981).
