Synopsis for "The Search for Mary Beth, Part Two"
Angel's search for her lost sister Mary Beth initially proves fruitless, even as she puts an ad in the personals section to tell her sister about the urgency of their mother dying. In the meantime, Wendy is using the personals to attract a potential (and wealthy) mate for herself -- in which she surprisingly gets hundreds of responses. She eventually settles for one particular prospect, a person by the name of Alexander Henry Applebottom III. However, on the date that Master Applebottom takes her on, Wendy is plenty embarrassed to discover that he is a child.
Cindy, after hearing about Angel's failed attempt to use the personals to locate Mary Beth, suggests to her a change in the personals that says their mother is dead and that she needs to show up to collect her part of the family fortune. Angel rejects that idea at first, but eventually relents and changes the ad to Cindy's suggestion. Surprisingly, Angel gets hundreds of respondents at her apartment building, all claiming to be her sister Mary Beth! Angel at this point is ready to kill Cindy for that suggestion.
