Agamemnon was the King of Mycenae in Greek mythology. He was notable for leading the armies of Greece during the Trojan War. King Agamemnon died centuries ago, but several other characters have used similar names. Agamemno was a cosmic being who assembled his own Injustice League during the events of The Silver Age. There is also a San Francisco vigilante named Agamemnon who was inspired by The Movement. Agamemnon was adapted from the mythological character by Alvin Schwartz and Al Plastino for the DC Universe in Superman #53 (1948).
