2007

2007 sees another imprint created to cater to a growing market: Zuda Comics publishes web comics. It will last only three years and has limited commercial success.

In Geoff Johns' Green Lantern (Volume 4), the Star Sapphire Corps is introduced, paving the way for the War of Light. Wonder Woman gets a massive storyline that expands into tie-ins in other series: Amazons Attack!, which sees Hippolyta resurrected by Circe and on the war path. A new Doctor Fate and a new Azrael are introduced and the Justice Society is brought back with their own title. The main storylines prepare for the next big event, as the countdown to Final Crisis begins.
