1999

Last year's Cataclysm turns into No Man's Land in 1999. In this massive event published across all Batman family titles, Gotham City is separated from the mainland and abandoned by the government, forcing factions to fend for themselves. The event is so large it frequently features a city map to maintain an overview of the changing state of affairs.

Geoff Johns makes his debut for DC Comics with the creation of Courtney Whitmore in Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. (Volume 1).
