The Crescent Axe is an axe in Dark Souls.
In-Game Description
- Well-used old bronze battle axe with a long hilt and a crescent-shaped blade.
- One of the blessed weapons of the Way of White. The Crescent Axe is bequeathed to cleric warriors who have proven their faith.
Availability
Characteristics
The Crescent Axe deals both Magic and Regular Physical Damage, and it scales decently with Faith. Although this weapon can potentially have a high Attack Rating, it tends to perform less favorably because it has to factor in two defenses when calculating its final damage.
Like all Axes, if an attack doesn't connect with an enemy, the user will stumble and seem to not be able to handle the weight. If the hit connects, the stumble animation does not come into play and the user moves as normal.
It possesses the Divine Auxiliary Effect, making it effective to prevent the Skeletons of the Catacombs or in the Gravelord Nito boss fight from reanimating.
