Dark Shadows: 1840 Flashback, was a VHS release, cataloged by MPI Home Video as MP6062, in 1991, and collected two episodes from the 1840 Flashback storyline of Dark Shadows into a 40-minute compilation. The opening section was removed from the second episode so that the presentation would flow as if it were one continuous episode.
Notes
- This was the only special VHS compilation to highlight a single storyline. A similar, albeit longer, version of this concept was used for the 2009 DVD releases of Dark Shadows: The Vampire Curse and Dark Shadows: The Haunting of Collinwood.
