Lyre was a string instrument with 6 strings, usually made out of wood.[1] It was a popular instrument choice for Song Tellers.[2]
Multiple variations of the lyre existed, such as the 7-stringed Spriton Lyre,[3] and at least one 8-stringed variant used by Barfinnious during the late Age of Division.[2]
