Tail Blade (Japanese: テイルブレード, Hepburn: Teiruburēdo?) is the captain of zones Iota and Kappa from G-Darius. It is shaped after a telescopefish (Gigantura indica).
Details
This captain's main form of attack is to shoot twin waves from its mouth which move in a waving pattern. It can also roll forward to ram the player.
When captured it gains a new attack, where it shoots a light from its eye in a triangle area in front of it. This attack is executed by inputting a tap forward, followed by a half-circle motion (→←↙↓↘→) then pressing/holding the shot button.
