The Hastur (ハスター Hasutā?) was an exosuit that was wielded by the leader of the Kur's Advance Unit. The exosuit was soon destroyed by Okarun during the Kur's attempted invasion of Earth.

Appearance

The exosuit was lengthy in height, shown to stand taller than an average human. Its head had a thin shape with very large black eyes that glow when its spatial carving abilities were activated, along with small nostrils and a slitted mouth. Its upper body had a shell-shape that split from the back and possessed two holes on the back. The opening of the shell where the head is had dark cords around the neck area that runs down to its small abdomen. It had reptilian features such as a long tail and scaly arms with three clawed fingers, including metal shoulder pads. It also had a loincloth with a scale pattern similar to its arms. The suit's legs were very long in comparison to the upper body.

The Hastur has the unique ability of carving out space as its main form of combat.
Strengths
The Hastur Kur defeats Okarun

Used offensively, the Hastur's spatial carving ability enables the wearer to attack their opponent with an invisible force, with a thrust of the palm causing a distortion of space being sent to destroy whatever is in its path or a hand grip gesture allowing the wearer to crush their opponent with carved space from opposite sides. Upon impact, the spatial attacks are devastating enough to bring down strong combatants such as Okarun, whose injuries from being crushed by the space around him were so severe that he had to be put on life support. The wearer can also grab ahold of the carved space to attack their opponents from up close.

Hastur Kur expelling debris

The Hastur wearer can use the carved space to swipe away anything heading towards their direction, sending them to the suit's pocket dimension on its back. This helps the Hastur wearer to avoid any incoming attacks and even banish opponents from the battlefield if they are in close-range. The wearer of the Hastur can choose to release whatever they have stored away, which can be another form of offense depending on what they are sending back at their opponent, such as the Hastur Kur redirecting a wave of debris back at Momo after the Esper previously sent it towards the Kur as an attack.

Hastur's Spatial Shifting

The spatial carving also allows the Hastur wearer to shift the position of their opponents. In the midst of battle, the Hastur wearer can rob an opponent a chance to land an attack by shifting them back and can pull them in towards them to close the distance and attack. As a result of this tampering of space, the Hastur wearer's opponents end up being caught off guard and are usually left too late to do anything to defend themselves.

Defensively, the Hastur wearer can block oncoming attacks by placing carved space between themselves and the attack, which was shown strong enough to protect the Hastur Kur from an All-Out headbutt from Okarun.

Weaknesses

While the spatial attacks are strong it is possible to cancel them out if clashed with an attack of equal power, such as Momo's Moe Moe Tri-Beam that is capable of destroying exosuits with a single shot. An opponent with enhanced speed that is constantly on the move can make it difficult for the Hastur wearer to land a hit with the carved space or to shift their possession, as the few times it is shown to work is when the opponent remains stationary.

Dimension
The Hastur possesses its own dimension that stores whatever the wearer swipes away with the suit's ability to carve out space. The storage space is located on the suit's back from which everything that is sent is visible on the two large holes.
Strengths and Weaknesses

The dimension is able to store an infinite amount of whatever the Hastur wearer has captured inside the suit's body. While any living thing is kept alive within the dimension, it is impossible for them to escape unless the wearer wishes to expel whatever is inside.

However, as demonstrated by Momo, if the Hastur wearer just so happens to absorb a being who possesses powers that transcend dimensions, then it can be made possible for them to force their way out using a special attack. This will result in the Hastur taking major damage due to the attack being unleashed from within.

Tail
The tail of the Hastur can be used as a weapon, as the tip is sharp enough to pierce through flesh, shown when the Hastur Kur impaled Bamora through her abdomen.

History

Past

The leader of the Kur's Advance Unit was already in possession of the Hastur at the time of his race's invasion of Sumer.

Kintama Hunt Saga

Space Globalists Arc

Upon the arrival of the Kur's Advance Unit on Earth to track down the Sumerian girl Bamora, the Hastur Kur used his exosuit to eliminate two Serpos at their base and to raid the facility to secure the alien race's technology and data. By the conclusion of the raid, the Hastur received a signal from Bamora's exosuit, inadvertently transmitted by Jiji, enabling the Advance Unit to track down their target and her new companions.

Later, the Hastur Kur utilized his exosuit against Okarun after his team confronted him. Using the Hastur's spatial carving power, the Kur tampered with Okarun's positioning as he engaged in a one-on-one fight against the Jet Booster Exosuit Kur and made the final blow to put him down.

In the course of the Kur's attempted invasion of Earth, the Hastur Kur inflicted a lethal injury to Bamora by utilizing the tail of his exosuit to penetrate her abdomen. Following this, the Kur used the Hastur to engage in combat with Momo, and later Okarun upon his arrival on the battlefield. Ultimately, the Hastur sustained damage from Momo's Moe Moe Tri-Beam after she used this technique to escape the confines of the exosuit's dimension and was soon destroyed when Okarun charged straight through it at full force.

Later, after the conclusion of the invasion, the helmet of the Hastur was recovered by the Serpos to look over the data about the Kur.
